Founded in 1997, Viking has become a leader in river and ocean cruising, offering immersive journeys across some of the world’s most beautiful waterways. Viking’s river cruises range from 8 to 23 days and explore iconic destinations along Europe’s Rhine, Main, Danube, Seine, Rhône, Douro, Moselle, Elbe, Dordogne, Garonne, and Gironde Rivers; Egypt’s Nile; and Southeast Asia’s Mekong.

In 2015, Viking expanded into ocean cruising with the launch of its first ocean ship, the 930-guest all-veranda Viking Star. Today, Viking’s modern ocean fleet has grown to 13 sister ships, each designed to provide an intimate, luxurious, and enriching experience. Classified as “small ships” by Cruise Critic, Viking’s ocean ships include Viking Star, Viking Sea, Viking Sky, Viking Sun, Viking Orion, Viking Jupiter, and additional sister ships that maintain Viking’s signature blend of understated elegance and Scandinavian design.
